How to claim an item

Found your lost belonging in a report? Here is how to get it back safely.

    Find the record

    Search Nikhoj by item name, category, district, or the unique tracking ID (SKU) printed on a Digital ID tag.

    Verify it is yours

    Open the report and check the photos, location, and description carefully to confirm the item truly belongs to you.

    Contact the reporter

    Use the report’s contact button to reach the finder. Share proof of ownership — a receipt, serial number, or a detail only the owner would know.

  4. 4

    Arrange a safe handover

    Meet in a public place or through the reporting organisation. Once returned, the record is marked resolved.
